Article Highlights Advantages and Differences Among Four National Diet Plans
(December 2007) HMR (Health Management Resources®) was one of four national diet plans highlighted in the December issue of Obesity Management. The article looked at weight-loss programs that use meal replacements as the primary dieting tool. Meal replacements (portion-controlled, calorie restricted meals like HMR Shakes, Entrees, and BeneFit(R) Bars) have been shown to promote significantly greater weight loss than traditional, calorie-restricted diets. Meal replacements work by displacing higher calorie foods with portion-controlled, lower-calorie foods.
The article highlighted several advantages of the HMR Program for Weight Management™, including:
