Imagine having a team of people who are as dedicated to your weight-loss success as you are. With HMR, you’ll discover the difference it makes to always have a coach in your corner.

Our group coaching, either in person or virtual, allows you to connect with others who can relate to your struggles, and will be there with you to meet them head on. You’ll learn how to get the results you’re looking for, by pushing outside of your comfort zone, with the support of people who will hold you accountable and are there for you every step of the way. We believe in our coaching, because people who work with a coach lose almost twice as much weight as those who diet on their own*.

You may not be sure if working with a coach is right for you. Or you may not be sure you will like being in a group setting. So we’ve put this resource together to help you learn more about HMR coaching, what it is, and how it works. When you're ready to join the program, we'll be there to support you, however you need it. An advocate, a trainer, a teacher – someone who challenges you, helps find creative solutions for everyday sticky situations, and guides you toward success.

HMR Coaches Share 5 Ways They Support You
 
  1. We meet you where you are. We want to get to know you and understand your specific goals and challenges. By listening to you and hearing about your week, we can create strategies that’ll best support you.
     
  2. We’ll teach you how to think differently. Losing weight is about changing certain lifestyle behaviors, and that includes changing old ways of thinking that get in the way of success. Being able to change habits you’ve had your whole life isn’t easy, but you can do it, and we’ll show you how.
     
  3. We help you plan, plan, plan. We are all about helping you define the details so you can turn good intentions into action! Learning how to make solid plans (and back-up plans) is one of the most important skills for long-term weight management.
     
  4. We keep you accountable. If you tell us you’re going to try out a new fitness class or a particular recipe, the next time we talk, we’ll be asking how it went. Plus, we’ll give you custom challenges each week designed to support your personal goals. When hurdles arise and challenges seem to get in the way, we’ll be there to guide you, share ideas, tweak your plan, and check-in to support you.

    Along with your coach, you’ll also get support from others in your group who are going through the program along with you, as you all share ideas, strategies, encouragement, and how you’ve overcome obstacles along the way.
     
  5. We focus on success. Losing weight and keeping it off means making lifestyle changes. And we’ll make sure you’re staying on the track of progress with positive changes – like getting in all your fruits and veggies and physical activity – no matter what the scale says each week.
