My husband and I both joined the HMR Program in May of 2019. I joined the Healthy Solutions at Home plan with phone coaching, and my husband opted for the in-person plan. I am a busy working mother of a 3-year-old daughter, and needed a program that was convenient. My husband and I want to live a long, healthy life to watch our daughter grow up, so we needed to take our health into our hands. I lost 55 lbs.1 in 6 months in Phase 1 of the program, and then transitioned to Phase 2 (maintenance) in November of 2019, after reaching my goal weight. I gained a couple of pounds during the holidays, but having the support of my coach and Phase 2 weekly group call helps me get back on track to lose that weight.

The ease of the HMR Program makes it very sustainable for us. I never have to worry about what’s for dinner, because I know I always have a quick and easy meal option with the HMR Entrees and vegetables. My coach, Sharon Z., has been so supportive; she always makes sure I have a specific, attainable goal to work towards each week. And the cost of the program was worth every penny. We actually saved money compared to what we were spending eating out before joining.

My Biggest VictoryI eat so many more vegetables now; I love mixing riced cauliflower with an HMR Entree. I am also so much more active than I used to be. I was so excited when I tried on my wedding dress from four years ago, and it was so big on me that it fell off.

Since losing weight, I feel happier and healthier, and have become less dependent on my medications. I was pre-diabetic before joining and now my glucose levels are within normal range.2 The program is easier than you think. You will not be hungry, in fact, one of HMR’s best sayings is, “More is better.”
