The decadent flavors of coffee and chocolate come together in this rich, creamy ice cream. This recipe supports the Phase 1 Decision Free and Healthy Solutions plans and Phase 2, and makes 1 serving at 120 calories with 12g of protein.
1 tsp cocoa powder and/or instant coffee (optional, if you want to boost the flavor)
1-2 packets noncaloric sweetener (optional)
4-6 oz water
4-6 ice cubes
Directions
Place ice cubes in food processor fitted with the metal blade.
Process ice until finely ground.
Turn off the food processor. Scrape ice down off the sides of the mixing bowl.
Turn the processor back on and add water, 1 serving of HMR Shake mix, and any add-ins/sweeteners, if using.
Process for 2 minutes or until it becomes a soft ice cream texture. (You may have to stop periodically to scape the ice cream down off the sides of the mixing bowl.)
TIP: For a firmer ice cream, put in the freezer for 30-60 minutes.
