You don't have to give up ice cream to lose weight! This recipe makes a large bowl of ice cream using an HMR Shake that tastes just like the real thing—only with a lot more protein. This recipe supports the Phase 1 Healthy Solutions plan and Phase 2, and makes 1 serving at 170 calories, 12g of protein, and provides 1 fruit serving.
Place frozen berries and ice cubes in food processor fitted with the metal blade.
Process berries and ice until finely ground.
Turn off the food processor. Scrape berries down off the sides of the mixing bowl. Turn back on.
Add 4 oz. water, 1 serving of HMR Shake mix, and sweetener, if using.
Process for 2 minutes or until it becomes a soft ice cream texture. You might have to stop periodically to scrape the ice cream down off the sides of the mixing bowl.
TIP: For a firmer ice cream, put in the freezer for 30-60 minutes.
