Italian favorite
I love the different types of beans in this Pasta Fagioli. The sauce is just right and it can be combined with other entrees.

Awesome Base for Minestrone Soup!
This is my favorite HMR meal. I make a big batch of vegetable soup (canned San Marzano tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, zucchini, summer squash + a mix of beef and chicken broth) and add this meal to it. It makes a really delicious Minestrone-style soup. The sausage adds such a nice, spicy flavor. Adding a bit of Better Than Bouillon beef or chicken does wonders to this soup. I also like to add baby spinach at the end and let it wilt before I eat it. I actually look forward to eating this and would eat this even if I weren't on the HMR diet.
